Andrew Mahoney-Fernandes

Andrew is a current junior at the University of Washington in Seattle working towards a double degree in Informatics and Finance at the Foster School of Business. In Seattle, Andrew worked for several years in the food industry and as a supervisor for a valet company. With a profound interest in the stock market, he spent the past year interning for a stock trader who mentored him through investments. Additionally, Andrew has experience in programming, completing several courses in Java as well as client-side web development.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys boxing for the University of Washington, reading books about investment, and snowboarding on the weekends. In high school, he volunteered to teach young children English in Spain and also helped coach American football at a camp in Washington for 4 years. After he finishes his undergraduate, Andrew plans to return to school for an MBA and work in investment banking or technology.
