Pieter’s journey started with a long stint with Deloitte, beginning with vacation work from grade 12 in 1984 to 2004, when he finally left Deloitte to join XA with his fellow director Donald MacKay. He considers leaving a large renowned firm and starting a specialist consulting practice probably the best thing he could ever have done.

From starting out being half of a two-person band, he is now part of an incredible team of people with diverse skill sets. Problem solving and smart execution are at the core of what we do, and every team member plays a very specific role in these processes.
​
Outside of work, Pieter enjoys cycling and still striving to complete his 10th Argus Cycle Tour.
