Brazil Announces Preliminary Determination of the Antidumping Investigation on Acetic Esters from the United States and Mexico

The Brazilian government published today, on January 17, 2017, a notice on the preliminary determination of the antidumping investigation on acetic esters originating from the United States and Mexico, classified under the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (tariff codes) 2915.31.00 and 2915.39.31.

According to the notice, the preliminary determination regarding the existence of dumping, injury and causality was positive, meaning that, the investigation showed a causal relation between the Brazilian imports of acetic esters from the U.S. and Mexico and the alleged injury inflicted to the national industry.
