Rafael is the Leading Trade Analyst for our Brasília office with an emphasis in trade remedies and customs legislation.

He manages our trade remedy investigations and analyzes all possible strategies that the trade authorities could carry out. This analysis is invaluable to obtain the best possible outcome for our clients.

Before joining Sidera, Rafael spent 11 years at the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC). His responsibilities included serving in anti-dumping and safeguarded investigations (initiated between 2007 and 2012) for the Brazilian domestic industry. During his time there, Rafael also conducted on-the-spot verifications performed by DECOM (domestic industry, importers, and exporters).
