Citric acid, Sodium citrate, Potassium citrate and Calcium citrate imports

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade through its Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX/MDIC) published today, May 10 2016, an Official Notice adjusting the antidumping duties upon Brazilian imports of Citric acid, Sodium citrate, Potassium citrate and Calcium citrate produced by companies COFCO Biochemical, Anhui BBCA, Maanshan Biochemical, RZBC, RZBC (Juxian) and exported to Brazil directly or through trading by RZBC Import and Export.

The adjustment was based on the variations of sugar price on the first trimester of 2016 that reached 14,64 US$ cents/lb, in relation to the average of the last trimester of 2015, that reached 14,14 US$ cents/lb. The correction factor applied over the committed price was 1,014341. Therefore, CIF prices of exports of the aforementioned products cannot be lower than US$ 1.233,69/t.

The measure will come into force in 30 days from today.
