Antidumping Duty on Line Pipes Originating from China and Romania
On August 22, 2017, the Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade (CAMEX) published two notices extending the antidumping duties applied to the imports of line pipes originating from China and Romania, classified under item 7304.19.00 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM). The maintenance of this duty implies the charge of an additional specific tariff of US$ 743,00 on all Brazilian imports of line pipes from China, and an additional ad valorem duty of 14,3% on all Brazilian imports of line pipes from Romania.
The measures came into force on the day of its publication.
