Frozen Potatoes from Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and France

The Ministry of Foreign Trade through its Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX/MDIC) published on May 23, 2016 an Official Notice regarding the antidumping investigation of frozen potatoes exported from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

The Notice announced a period of up to 8-month extension as from October 14, 2016 for the conclusion of the antidumping investigation. This is normal practice in the investigations of higher levels of complexity and has no special meaning about the likely results.

The Brazilian Government will timely publish the revised deadlines of the investigation, such as deadlines to provide new information and evidence in the process, comment the information in the case records, issuance of Key Facts (Technical Note) and to comment on such report, and Decom’s recommendation to the Chamber of Ministries.
