Antidumping Investigation: Steel Bars Exported from China
The Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (SECEX/MDIC) published, on October 10, 2016, a public notice announcing an extension period of up to eight months, as from October 21, 2016, for the conclusion of the antidumping investigation on the exports of steel bars, classified under the code 7228.30.00 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature, originating from China.
The Brazilian Government will timely publish the revised deadlines of the investigation, including the deadline of the recommendation by the Department of Commercial Defense (DECOM) to the Chamber of Ministries.
