Assessment of Scope: Imports of Shoes from China

The Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade (CAMEX) published, on September 28, 2016, an official notice informing the conclusion of the scope assessment on the imports of shoes originating from China, classified under the Mercosur Common Nomenclature positions from 6402 to 6405.

The procedure aimed to determine whether the duties already applied on the imports of shoes from China should be also applied on the imports of kart shoes originating from China. With the publication of today’s notice, the Brazilian government informed on its decision to apply the same duties on the imports of kart shoes from China.
