Assessment of Scope: Speakers imported from China

The Secretary of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Foreign Trade published, today, a notice informing the opening of a scope assessment on the imports of speakers from China, classified under the Mercosur Common Nomenclature: 8518.21.00, 8518.22.00 and 8518.29.90

The procedure aims to determine whether certain products should receive the same duties already applied on the imports of speakers from China. The products that will be investigated are the Bluetooth Speakers models: IMW257; IMW477; IMW457; IMW576; IMW577

Interested parties will have 15 days to request a hearing, in order to add or clarify information regarding the scope assessment on speakers. The initiation date of the procedure will be timely published by the Brazilian Government.
