CAMEX Maintains Antidumping on N-Butanol
The Brazilian Government published an official notice maintaining the antidumping duty imposed upon n-butanol imports from the United States, South Africa and Russia, due to the lack of sufficient public interest motivation.
This notice also changed the way that the duty is going to be charged; instead of a specific added value, a percentage will now be added on to the import value (ad valorem).
The new antidumping duties are
Country | Producer/Exporter | Antidumping Duty (Ad Valorem) – % CIF |
USA | The Dow Chemical Company (TDDC) | 28,4% |
Union Carbide Corporation
Basf Corporation | 24,7%
Oxea Corporation | 9,8% | |
Eastman Chemical Company | 14,1%
Other Companies | 28,4% | |
South Africa | Sasol South Africa (Proprietary) Limited | 29,6% |
Other Companies | 67,1% | |
Russia | All Companies | 80,7% |
