Extension of the Antidumping Duty Suspension on E-SBR Rubber
The suspension of the antidumping duty applied on the imports of emulsion polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber (E-SBR) originating from the European Union was extended for a one-year period by the Brazilian Government. ESBR is predominantly used for the production of car and light truck tire retreated compounds.
The antidumping duty suspension, which has already been in progress for a year, as from November 19, 2015, will be extended until November 20, 2017.
According to the notice, in the case that the Government decides to maintain the suspension after the specified date, the antidumping duty applied on the imports of E-SBR will be automatically terminated.
