Tariff reduction on: the imports of frozen sardine

The Ministry of Industry, Services and Foreign Trade through its Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX/MDIC) published on June 17, 2016, an Official Notice adjusting the tariff applied on the imports of frozen sardines.

The Notice made public the decision of reducing the ad valorem tax rate on frozen sardines from 14% to 2% for a period of six months, in addition the Notice established a quota of 30 thousand tones.

The measure came into force in the day of its publication.
