Jessica is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, and is a rising senior at the University of Richmond in Virginia, USA, studying International Relations, Economics, and Spanish. She is very interested in economic development and has experience in community development from working in the employment department of a refugee resettlement agency in the U.S. Jessica spent last fall studying in Madrid, confirming her love for travelling, experiencing new cultures, and further integrating herself into the international sphere. She is looking forward to immersing herself in a new country and hopes to pick up some Portuguese during her first experience living in Latin America.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, bargain shopping, spending time with her friends and family, and watching movies.
In the future, she looks to work in economic development or economic research, ideally with a focus on international economics and relations.
