Non-Preferential Origin Investigation: Tableware from Bangladesh

The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Trade, through its Secretary of Foreign Trade (SECEX/MDIC), published on September 12, 2016, an official notice terminating the non-preferential origin investigation on Brazilian imports of tableware (tariff codes 6911.10.10, 6911.10.90, 6911.90.00 and 6912.00.00), when manufactured by Monno Ceramic Industries Ltd. or Monno Bone China Ltd.

Import licenses requested by Brazilian importers should now be granted when the product originates from Bangladesh and is produced by the companies mentioned herein.

The measure came into force in the day of its publication.
