Preferential Sugar Exports From North and Northeast Brazil
The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply established Normative Instruction 02 on September 18th to implement export quotas for 2016/2017 sugar production from the North and Northeast regions of Brazil to guarantee more participation in their exports to the United States market. This measure is related to the import quotas established by the Federal Government of the United States for the year 2017/2018.
