Price Undertaking: Imports of Coarse Salt from Chile

The Brazilian Government published, on August 23, 2016, an official notice on the semi-annual adjustment of the price undertaking relative to Brazilian imports of coarse salt, not used for animal and human consumption (tariff code 2501.00.19), originating from Chile and manufactured by the company K+S Chile S.A.

The adjustment resulted in a CFR price of US$29.57 per ton for shipments that were made in the period between July, 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016, for exports made by the aformentioned company.

The measure has become valid on the day of its publication.
