Provisional payment implemented on South African non-wired glass imported or originating in Malaysia

On 20 August 2021, SARS implemented a 25.31% provisional anti-dumping duty on “other non-wired glass”, other (HS 7005.29), imported from or originating in Malaysia.

This provisional duty will remain in place until 18 February 2022. If the case has not been finalised before this date, any provisional payments made, will be refundable. If the. case has been finalised before that date, then the provisional payments will be converted into final duties and will be forfeited.
