On September 28, 2016, the Chamber of Foreign Trade (CAMEX) of Brazil published a notice on extending the antidumping duties applied on the imports of monobutyl ether of ethylene glycol (EBMEG), classified under item 2909.43.10 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM), for a period of 5 years. The maintenance of this duty will imply the application of an additional tariff of US$ 670,42 per ton on all Brazilian imports of EBMEG from the United States.

The measure came into force on the day of its publication.
