Tariff Reduction on Saturated Acyclic Hydrocarbons

On July 21, 2017, the Brazilian Government published a notice reducing tariffs on Brazilian imports of saturated acyclic hydrocarbons, classified under the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (tariff code) 2901.10.00.

According to the notice, the tariff on the imports of saturated acyclic hydrocarbons will be reduce to 2%, except for the imports of ethane, that will be reduced to 0%:

The measure came into force on the day of its publication.
