Tomaz Cwierz

Meet Tomás, head of Sidera's team in Argentina! His exceptional skills have been developed through a more than 20 years experience since he graduated in Economics in the University of Buenos Aires. 

  

He is an invaluable asset for Sidera Argentina, his wide knowledge in trade barriers includes the utilization of various database applications and languages, mainly with foreign trade data. Today, Tomás is a brilliant mind that manages antidumping cases and other trade defense issues as a Senior Advisor.  

  

Prior to joining Sidera, Tomás honed his expertise as former Trade Analyst at the Argentinian Ministry of Economy. He participated in drafting new regulations and documents for trade remedy proceedings. 

  

Moreover, Tomás has experience in the analysis of markets and trade barriers in the sectors of machine/tools (welding machines, measuring tapes, transformers), chemical industry (fertilizers, fungicides, petroleum derivatives), home appliances and construction materials among others. 

  

In addition, he played a pivotal role as a business development, investment and innovation advisor for SMEs and entrepreneurs. His experience in this role equipped him with a wide knowledge experienced him in the Agritech sector, participating in LATO Laboratorios, an SME dedicated to the production of fertilizers based on amino acids. 

  

Last, Tomás also has experience in government procurement, public infrastructure programs and government subsidies for the promotion of investments. He participated in projects in new technologies and the energy sector, between which we can count the Vaca Muerta deposit, Lithium and clean energies.
